The City of Minneapolis is developing a Citywide Pedestrian Master Plan to increase and improve walking in Minneapolis. The plan will examine current city policies and funding sources, recommend design guidelines for pedestrian facilities, and recommend short-term and long-term capital improvement projects. Development of the plan will take approximately 12 months and will offer multiple opportunities for public input. More information about the pedestrian master plan will be available on the city’s website at www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/pedestrian. Once there, you can sign up for e-mail updates.
