October 18th-20th: Naked Stages 2007, at Intermedia Arts

The culmination of a nine month mentorship program. 5:1 Meaning of Freedom 6:2 Use of Sharpening and Sex, Sugar, Sin, & Spirit presented in a double feature.

October 19th & 20th: Puppets and More, at Patrick's Cabaret
8:00 PM, 3010 Minnehaha Ave.
"Local and soon-to-be-famous-puppeteer Bart Buch brings a great mix of puppets and more to the cabaret."

October 20th: Feathers and Strings, at In the Heart of the Beast Theatre
10:00 AM & 12:00 PM, 1500 East Lake Street
Nationally renowned marionette expert, Kurt Hunter, will delight the whole family with a series of short inventive pieces, accompanied by a wide range of musical styles.

October 20th:
Global Chili Cook-Off, at Midtown Global Market
12:00 - 3:00 PM, 920 East Lake Street
Sample over 15 global chili recipes prepared by business owners of the Market and vote for the winner of the "Public’s Choice Award."

October 26th: Salsa with Maelo Ruiz, at El Nuevo Rodeo
9:00 PM, 2709 East Lake Street
The internationally famous Ruiz comes to perform in Minneapolis.

November 2nd - 11th: Personal Effects, at Pangea World Theater
7:30 PM Friday - Sunday (2:00 PM only on Nov. 11), 711 West Lake Street Suite 101
"Inspired by the work of ground-breaking New York choreographer Tere O’Connor, Personal Effects presents an evening of kinetic storytelling."
