Featuring Mayor R.T. Rybak. Join us in launching this great new partnership between Metro Transit, Lake Street Council, and local businesses! After the event, begin hopping, shopping, and saving yourself -- special savings and personal assistance will be available from Metro Transit, Lake Street Council, and Lake Street businesses.

The Consulate of Saint Paul, MN, the Institute of Mexicans Abroad (IME) the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, along with the Association Pro Cultural of Mezcal and Manny’s Tortas are inviting business and restaurant owners and the general public to know and taste different kinds of Mezcal. October 10th: Dog Lovers Night Out at the Pantages Theatre (710 Hennepin Ave.)
6:30 PM - V.I.Pet Reception, 8:00 PM showtime
Featuring a sneak preview of The Jungle Theatre's SYLVIA, to benefit the Minneapolis Dog Grounds Project.  Tickets for Dog Lovers Night Out at SYLVIA must be purchased at www.dogloversnightout.com.  General admission seats are $27 per person (dogs are admitted at no charge) or $37 at the door.  Reserved VIPet tickets are $55 which includes a pre-show yappy hour appetizer and wine reception at Solera, a bow-tie to dress up the furry ones for a night at the theatre and a goodie bag.  
 
October 12th: PPNA 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner & Silent Auction
5:30 - 8:30 PM, 1516 East Lake Street (Plaza Verde Ballroom)
A night of music, food and drinks to raise funds to support community programming for Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association, including art pieces for auction donated by local artists.
 
October 14th Festival America Latina
1:00 - 7:00 PM, 3751 17th Ave. S. (El Milagro Lutheran Church)
Live musical groups, dancing, contests and prizes, comedy, games for the whole family, and an authentic Mexican dish, all free. Hosted by La Conexion.
