October 10th: City of Minneapolis Transportation / Streetcar Meeting
6:30 - 8:30 PM, 3000 Minnehaha Ave. (3rd Precinct Community Room)
One of nine public meetings the City of Minneapolis is hosting to discuss the City’s draft Ten-Year Transportation Plan and its Streetcar Feasibility Study.

October 12th & 13th: Everything Except English, at Patrick's Cabaret
8:00 PM, 3010 Minnehaha Ave.
"Remembering that not even Columbus came here speaking English, we celebrate with a show where not a word of English will be spoken - and you'll get it all, not matter what tongues are in your head!"

October 14th: 100th Anniversary Celebration of Schatzlein Saddle Shop
12:00 - 3:00 PM, 413 West Lake Street
Pony rides, music stage, food vendors, Wells Fargo stagecoach, horses from the police and Northfield Jesse James gang, and a whole lot more as Schatzlein celebrates 100 years on Lake Street.

The culmination of a nine month mentorship program. 5:1 Meaning of Freedom 6:2 Use of Sharpening and Sex, Sugar, Sin, & Spirit presented in a double feature.

October 19th & 20th: Puppets and More, at Patrick's Cabaret

"Local and soon-to-be-famous-puppeteer Bart Buch brings a great mix of puppets and more to the cabaret."

October 20th: Global Chili Cook-Off, at Midtown Global Market
12:00 - 3:00 PM, 920 East Lake Street
Sample over 15 global chili recipes prepared by business owners of the Market and vote for the winner of the "Public’s Choice Award."
