November 15th: Global Talent Show, at Midtown Global Market
5:30 - 8:00 PM, 920 East Lake Street
Featuring Native American dancers, Irie Soul, fry bread and more.

November 15th - 17th: Indian of the Future vs. Buffalo Man, at Intermedia Arts
7:30 PM, 2822 Lyndale Ave. S.
This unique collaboration introduces two signature performance characters -- Buffalo Man and Indian of the Future -- to one another. For the first time on stage, the two will face each other in an epic battle for the right to protect Indian Country...or will they?

November 17th: The Crooked Man, at In the Heart of the Beast Theatre
10:00 AM & 12:00 PM, 1500 East Lake Street
Based on the nursery rhyme, "There was a crooked man who walked a crooked mile…" this show adds the "why" and the "how" to the Crooked Man’s world. Best for ages 5 and up.

November 17th: Calhoun Square's Annual
Coffee Festival
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 3001 Hennepin Ave. S.
Eclectic sampling of the Twin Cities' best coffee, tea and dessert vendors, caffeinated improvisational comedy shows by Comedy Sportz, fortunes read in coffee, and a lot more. Admission $9, which includes a commemorative mug and access to all attractions.

December 7th & 8th: International Folk Cabaret, at Patrick's Cabaret
8:00 PM, 3010 Minnehaha Ave.
Featuring performers from Argentina, Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Eden Prairie, Egypt, France, Hungary, Moldavia, Romania, and Transylvania.

December 7th & 8th: St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church's Julebord Advent Buffet
Starting at 5:30 PM, 2742 15th Ave. S.
Buffet featuring seasonal favorites and surprises, such as lutefisk, meatballs, and homemade lefse. Carols and music after dinner. Call (651) 459-7277 to reserve tickets by December 2nd.

Through January 13th: A Nordic Christmas, at the American Swedish Institute
2600 Park Ave.
This annual holiday exhibit features the 100-year-old Turnblad mansion decorated for Christmas, and highlights traditions of Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden with decorated trees and table settings for each Nordic country.

A colorful, interactive gallery experience that highlights the connections between people and place in Lake Street's past, present, and future.
 
Every Tuesday: Informational Meetings at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School
