Lake
Street cash flow loans: MCCD continues to make cash flow loans
available to Lake Street businesses negatively impacted by the current
reconstruction. This year MCCD has closed three loans totaling $30,000 to
businesses on Lake Street. Seward Redesign helped in facilitating the Lake
Street cashflow loans. Businesses that can show the financial impact of the
construction are eligible for loans of up to $20,000 with extremely
advantageous terms. Interest does not accrue and only principal payments of
$50 per month are required until January 2008 when the loan starts fully
amortizing.
