Lake Street Reconstruction is wrapping up for the
season and we have had our last weekly meeting. Metro Transit buses on Lake
Street will resume normal service, with no detours, Friday at 12:00 PM. Contact

information you may have during the winter months.
Construction will begin in '07 as soon as the
weather allows. Once construction starts, Lake Street Council will again host
weekly informational meetings for most up-to-date info. Plan to attend. We will
notify you of location, day and time early next spring. With both ends of the
construction in progress next season, we may host meetings in Midtown for
everyone to attend.
Just as over the last two construction seasons,
County and City project managers will join us at these weekly meetings to
outline progress and to discuss issues specific to your needs.
In the meantime, we urge you to connect with your
customers, begin to roll out coupons and other special offers. Let your
customers know what to expect next spring. If you think you may need cash flow
assistance, now is the time to talk to your banker or area CDC.

banners this week, but they'll be up again next season. If you are interested in
