The Lake Street Council's mission is to build a cohesive strategy to ensure the ongoing vitality of the Lake Street Corridor business community.

A Look Back, A Look Ahead:

Happy 2008! Lake Street Council had a very busy and productive in 2007. Among the many ways we were aiding and promoting Lake Street, some of the biggest were our Lake Street brochure, supporting the Right on Lake Street exhibit at the Minnesota History Center, and our Visit Lake Street merchandise, which proved so popular that we soon had to do a second run. This was in addition to what you can rely on Lake Street Council to provide every year, like Fix & Paint grants, the Lake Street Ambassadors program in the summer, being a go-to spot for problems or questions regarding construction or any other business issue, and of course news and events updates such as this throughout the year!

This year, Lake Street Council's 40th, we have goals and tasks ahead just as ambitious. With our participation in the Food & Wine Experience February 23rd & 24th coming up soon, this will be a year full of projects and opportunities to make Lake Street a more prosperous and attractive place to do business than ever.

Of course, we can't do it alone. We would be nothing without our members, and with 2008 beginning, we are asking that all Lake Street business join or renew with us and help us realize our ambitions. New membership applications will be arriving in the mail soon. Thank you for your support!
