will be the 35th year for the MayDay Parade.

Members of the public
are invited to bring old love letters, photographs, teddy bears, clothing, and
other items that hold memories of an ex-love. There will be devices such as a
paper shredder, punching bag, large scissors to de-stuff the teddy bears, and
other ways to help give closure to love lost. The event also features gift bags
for the first 300 guests to bring in an item, as well as dinner specials, prizes
and unique foods and gifts from vendors in Midtown Global
Market.

Lyn-Lake Small Area Plan

The City of Minneapolis has worked with Lyn-Lake area neighborhoods and
businesses to develop a small area plan and seeks feedback on the
recommendations for the plan drive future development in the Lyn-Lake area.
Following the meeting, the draft will be made available for a 45-day public
comment period before it is presented to the City Planning Commission and the
City Council for adoption.
