Lake Street Council is pleased to be able to offer its members a chance to win a pair of tickets to Pangea World Theater's new play, From the Ashes. To win, send the answer to this question back to coien@lakestreetcouncil.org: What was the name of Pangea's March show? (If you need a hint, you can look back at our last newsletter to find the answer).

Two pairs of tickets are available. One pair is for the April 22nd performance, and one pair for April 29th. Shows take place at 7:30 PM at 711 West Lake Street. The Star Tribune reports that partners in Town Talk Diner are planning to start up a pasta shop at Chicago & Lake, at the former site of Carne Asada.

On April 11th at 10:00 AM, the African Development Center, along with Mayor Rybak and several members of the City Council, will announce a new alternative financing program in Minneapolis. This program will use a profit-based model instead of charging interest for loans, with the hope of getting more people involved in starting and improving businesses.
