Organizations that Serve Small Businesses in Minnesota

A Small Business Roundtable is an open forum with business stakeholders
that will allow us to exchange ideas, gather information about emerging
stakeholder issues, and maintain a continuing dialogue with stakeholder

April 9th: Spring Wine Tasting, at Old Arizona

Join Old Arizona for an evening filled with palate-pleasing wines, fine
cheeses and pintxos (small bites), while mingling with friends and
neighbors in the intimate spaces of Old Arizona. All wines served
during the evening will be available for purchase at the event. Like
all events hosted by Old Arizona, profits from the wine tasting will go
towards Old Arizona’s youth programs for teenage girls. $20 in advance,
$25 at the door.

Frank Theatre presents the premiere of an original company-developed
adaptation of Franz Kafka’s classic 1912 novella, Metamorphosis, one of
the most analyzed stories in modern literature that continues to elicit
vast interest and interpretation on the stage, in film and music.

April 17th: Record Store Day, at Hymie's and Extreme Noise

Celebrate national Record Store Day at two Lake Street institutions. It
will be Hymie's
last day in their current location, and they've confirmed five live
acts to perform on that day: Martin Devaney, Adam Marshall of the
Humbugs, The Twin Cities Ukelele Orchestra, Stepped Reckonner, Fort
Road Five and Buffalo Moon. Extreme Noise will have food,
limited records and possibly an in-store performance too.
April 17th: Earth Day Celebration, at Midtown

Visitors are invited to meet local farmers and producers, visit with
environmental experts and shop for a variety of eco-friendly products.
Guests can learn about their impact on the environment at several
educational booths and activities. They can take the Minnesota Energy
Challenge, learn about water conservation, how to reduce toxins in
their homes, and more.

caustic wife, invite a handsome young professor and his mousy wife home

Martha turn their razor-sharp wits against each other, using their
guests as pawns in their verbal sparring. Winner of the Tony Award for
