May 8th: Uptown Association Networking Event

May 16th
: Freewheel Midtown Bike Center Grand Opening
7:00 AM, on the Greenway near the Midtown Exchange
A morning ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by free food, music, and facility tours from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.

May 17th
: "The Jump Off" Double Dutch Competition, at Midtown Farmers' Market
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Lake St. & 22nd Ave.
Eight teams of five young competitors will compete for prizes in best coordination, teamwork & footskills. Double Dutch is a sport in which one person jumps rope with two ropes and one or more people jumping simultaneously. Presented by Minneapolis Park and Recreation's Youthline Program & Midtown Farmer's Market.
