June 11th: Annual Legislative Update from Longfellow Business Association and SCCA

June 16th: Uptown Great Streets Meeting
6:30 PM, 3038 Hennepin Ave. (Magers & Quinn)
Uptown Association was recently awarded a Great Streets Business District Support Grant. The grant was awarded to help the Uptown Association brand and market the Uptown community. They would like to share more information about the grant, the next steps and our plans for moving forward. They are also asking for your input at this very exciting time in Uptown’s growth.

June 12th: Minnesota Bicycle Festival in Uptown
4:30 - 9:00 PM, Hennepin & 31st
The 1-kilometer course comprises six tight corners and a furious race to the finish line at Hennepin Avenue and 31st Street. Kid's, women's, and men's racing will take place.

June 13th: Midtown Farmers' Market
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, 22nd & Lake
All products are sold to you direct from MN and WI farmers, producers, and artists. The market offers a bounty of fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, cheese, meat, bread, and other delicious local foods, as well as handmade soaps, greeting cards, jewelry, and much more. The Market accepts Visa, Mastercard, EBT, FMNP, and SFMNP.

June 14th: "Gig Posters Volume I" release party and poster sale, at Magers & Quinn

Magers and Quinn Booksellers hosts a poster sale by 8 Minneapolis designers. Come browse the aisles as we display assorted screen-printed works from these talented concert poster artists throughout the store. These are the artists responsible for the yearly success of the “Poster Offensive,” SXSW’s “Flatstock.” and One on One Bike Shop’s “Artcrank.“ Come meet them in the comfortable confines of the Twin Cities’ largest independent bookstore. As an added bonus, Magers & Quinn’s entire selection of music books will be an additional 10% off all day.
