Council's annual wine tasting and silent auction will be on
Thursday, November 13th. We'll be back at El Nuevo
Rodeo from 5:30 - 8:00 PM.
The
September edition of The Alley newspaper is now available on our website.
This month's issue features some of the best stories about Pioneers
& Soldiers Cemetery. It also has stories and photos about
beautiful new area murals, many of them on Lake Street
itself.
Jeremy Iggers from The Rake recently
visited Italiani's Family Restaurant, formerly the Lake
Street Garage, at 3508 East Lake Street, and liked
what he found.
The Minnehaha-Hiawatha
Community Works project has a website up that explains the project,
has committee members listed and meeting minutes available, tracks articles
published on the project, and has a survey where you can provide your own
input. Check

night of poetry, music, theater and dance. All proceeds will be donated by the

St. Ron Huff is a classically trained and internationally
certified chef who is a founder and leader of Slow Food

Figure Theatre 506 E. 24th St. "Conceived
on the banks of the Mississippi River in 1983, Tickled Pink, serves up the
old familiar with three men playing to the best of their abilities, both rare

proceeds go to Minneapolis food shelves.

parade from Bloomington Ave. to 3rd Ave. followed by a celebration featuring
many local Latino businesses, food vendors, schools,
churches and nonprofit organizations serving the Latino community. 20,000 -
25,000 people are expected to attend.
