of the Lake Street Corridor business community.
The Latest on Lake
The Lyndale and Kingfield neighborhoods have
recently announced a project called Walldogs on
Nicollet, which involves "local and national
artists who will come together to paint six to ten murals along Nicollet
Avenue from Lake Street to 46th Street in the Lyndale and Kingfield
Neighborhoods during July 2008." As part of the kick-off weekend, you can "Eat
for Art" on September 13th at several participating restaurants, who will
donate a portion of their profits to the project. One of them is Lake Street's
own Falafel King,
at 701 West Lake. Visit Lyndale's
website for further details.
