Funds raised at this event support the Lake Street Council’s work to rebuild, strengthen, and advocate for the Lake Street business community and the Twin Cities at large!

  • Tane Danger is on a mission to make good things fun. He is an event host, media personality, and teacher. He’s a professional improv comedian with a master’s in public policy.

    For more than a decade, Tane has hosted the nationally renowned civics-inspired improv comedy show, The Theater of Public Policy, hosted most often at the Bryant Lake Bowl.


  • Zaynab M. Mohamed is a politician serving as a member of the Minnesota State Senate since 2023. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she represents District 63, comprising southeast Minneapolis and parts of Richfield.

  • State Representative Aisha Gomez was reelected in 2022 to serve a third term for the Minnesota House District 62A. Rep. Gomez represents a portion of South Minneapolis which includes communities like Whittier, Lyndale, and Stevens Square. Rep. Gomez currently serves as the Chair of the Taxes Committee, and she serves on the Property Tax Division, and Ways and Means. She is also a member of the People of Color and Indigenous Caucus.
